The first edition of the newly rebranded popart goes off with a bang….
…well actually more like the ‘pop’ of a champagne cork.
Last Friday was the launch night of the first edition of the newly named ‘popart’ – Populous London’s inhouse art gallery. The calls for all employees to submit their creative pieces involved a theme this time around. Each piece had to be a portrayal of what the company rebrand meant to the artist – how it influenced their creative minds. There were 7 entries ranging from collages, to sculptures, to a spray paint canvas….1st place for this exhibit went to Andy Edge with his 2012 Stadium wrap inspired piece – and Tim Reeves in 2nd with his acrylic glass sculpture.
